As we enter the Thanksgiving Break, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to our students, families, teachers, staff, and administrators. I encourage everyone to take this time to recharge, reflect, and enjoy the company of family and friends.
Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the Holliman Kindergarten Thanksgiving Parade, and tomorrow, I look forward to seeing many familiar faces at the annual Thanksgiving Day Beacon Bowl between Pilgrim and Toll Gate High Schools. These are just a few of many longstanding traditions that reflect the pride and spirit of our Warwick community.
Best wishes for a restful and joyful Thanksgiving.
Sincerely,
William D. McCaffrey
Superintendent of Schools

Warwick Public Schools is holding a district-wide "dress down" day on Friday, November 14th as part of a Pilgrim student's Capstone project. Staff and students across Warwick Schools are encouraged to wear their favorite sports team apparel or Warwick Vets colors in exchange for a donation. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward the student's Capstone project, which memorializes and honors Mr. Jason Almeida, a beloved Warwick Veterans Middle School PE teacher, coach, and alumnus.

Monday, November 3rd, students are encouraged to wear purple to raise awareness for sepsis research in memory of former Vets student Gianna Cirella.

This event is a great opportunity for all incoming 6th grade students and any students new to Warwick Veterans to visit the school, tour the hallways, meet the administrative team, practice opening lockers, and more. Food trucks will be on-site, so you can make an evening of it and enjoy dinner as well—just be sure to bring cash for food purchases!
