Vets Middle Band Concert - February 21, 2020

The 7th and 8th-grade Concert Band performed a lunch concert for the students, faculty, and staff on Friday, February 21.
All performances were held in the auditorium during lunchtime.

Hoops for Hearts - February 2020

Thank you all for supporting our event.  The students who participated had a wonderful time and they did a fantastic job raising money for such a worthy cause.  We have finally have a total, $2,340.00 was raised for the American Heart Association.  Some of our top money raisers are Dan Kavanagh – $210.00, Dylan Rodrigues – $135.00, Aedyn Murphy – 100.00, 

Dillon Vale, Finn Meehan, and Chris Cronin were the winners of the half court contest!

School Improvement Team - December 2019

Our School Improvement Team met December 10th, 2019 to sign our 2019-2020 plan.  Parents, teachers, students, and administration brainstormed Parent Involvement ideas together in order to meet our SIT goals.   Please consider joining us at our next meeting (to be announced)

New Year - New Sound System! - Thank you Warwick Vets PTSA!

Warwick Veterans Middle School would like to thank the Warwick Vets PTSA for the new sound system that they purchased for the Cafeteria.

This is a major upgrade from the old system and will certainly improve the distribution of information in the Cafeteria.

Please continue supporting the PTSA, their contribution to our school is very much appreciated.

Governor Raimondo has announced that we will be continuing distance learning through the entire month of April. A few dates to take note of:

  • Distance learning for all schools will take place until Friday, May 1. 

  • Friday, April 3 and Friday, April 17 will be planning or professional development days for district staff. No distance/virtual school for students.

  • Thursday, April 9 and Friday and April 10 are vacation days for all school districts. No distance/virtual school for all.

All activities and events, including athletics, are canceled until futher notice.  

The Breakfast-Lunch Grab and Go will continue Monday through Friday until further notice. This is free to all students under the age of 18 and will continue at these 3 locations: Oakland Beach Elementary, Toll Gate & Pilgrim High Schools.

All students under the age of 18 (no ID’s are necessary) may get a breakfast and lunch between the hours of 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at the following locations:

  • Toll Gate High School – use the one way road between Toll Gate and WACTC, a pop-up tent will be located under the second bridge
  • Pilgrim High School – go to the back parking lot, a pop-up tent will be located at the rear entrance of the cafeteria
  • Oakland Beach Elementary School – enter the back parking lot via Limestone, to the pop-up tent, exit via Gordon
